Isn't the religios right is the main backer of the death Penalty in the US? I beleive so
To Suggest that MANY American and Canadians do not support the death penalty because of your experience in both countries is Antecdotal at best and misleading at worst.
There is a big move here for tougher penalties since our legal System here is a joke, but I highly doubt that the death penalty would be reinstated. I also hear from a lot of the Canadian consevatives the phrase "An eye for an eye" which is taken from the bible I beleive.
And I will enjoy Halloween too I am going trick or treating with my wife and daughter, Can you say Dentist bill$ , damn

I'm afraid nothing is more anecdotal than your English and your manner of thinking.
I explained to you how you're not paying a cent for the criminals locked up in prison, and I'm telling you that all Americans and Canadians, and I'm repeating "ALL", with whom I've spoken totally disagree with the death penalty and call it barbarian and so do I.
Whether or not you wanna learn and understand that's your problem, but the entire civilized world is opposed to that barbarism.
