Actual opportunity to save Copts from genocide.

To all Copts, Catholic and Orthodox:

I do not have to speak about what is happening in Egypt and Sudan and other Copt. We all know of the poverty and the persecution that is happening daily. But it is unrealistic to believe that aid will come from either the U.N. or the United States as these concerns are not exactly high on their priority lists.

There is, however, an opportunity to do something that will save Coptic lives RIGHT NOW.

I'm sorry that I don't quite understand your post. For obvious reasons, I do not wish to discuss this openly and in much detail, but I will say that what I have to offer will include:

1. small business networking
2. religious and cultural preservation
3. educational opportunities
4. light industry development
5. technology transferance
6. international relations

God bless you brother, for your thinking about Copts in our mother land,,,but
Don’t you see that an assignment as such, is very large to be conducted by individual efforts; it needs some kind of organization to support it financially, also, under the circumstance that the churche is playing major role in Christian people's lives, so it is hard to do something like that without the churche approval.
My opinion is to push the church to adopt the development, and advertise it in all churchs abroad to get financial support.

please allow me to disagree with you completely. Please take no offense. The reason we are in such terrible status for many centuries now is that we all want to be followers!
Ofcourse the government as well as the church leadership are trying hard to keep us that way, it is ironic indeed that we call for a civil government but we have no civil leaders amongst ourselves. Our beloved church is our spiritual life and its leaders are our spiritual guides, but when it comes to economics and other matters of life, we should not be looking to them for leadership.
Perhaps this is one of very few reasons I still do come here to the copts site, it is one of just a hadfull of organisations that has a true civil leadership. No priests wanted here, thank you very much.
