I can't say the Pop and Bishops are happy about what is happening to COPTS, but neither the POP nor the bishops & priest can do anything for COPTS. They are not born to be political leaders.

They are not trained or raised to fight for the COPTS civilian and political rights or to get involve in the political negotiations behind closed doors. God choose priesthood for spiritual wisdom and for their spiritual relation with God.

We as secular people have handed our responsibilities to the priests in my view it is 70% is our problem as secular people & 30% is the church problem.

I do not think the POP, Bishops & Priests supported any real seculare leadership from outside the Church to speak out with government for our civilian rights, and to make things even worse for 1400 years we have been taught to obey the priest in everything.

We hand our freedom with our own well to the church & the church can not stand in front of the System thus they handed over our past & future freedom to the Fundamentals in the street and in the Government


Can we do anything to fix this situation...??; I strongly believe we still can change things on the ground. We have better tools, we have too many good examples to follow we have smart people. It is important to organize our efforts outside and inside Egypt. We must keep trying day after day and never say die.
