How to define a friend?

I have read a book before about friends. After this book, I think its not possible to have a friend, and I mean true friend. Some of the things I red was that, fried have to be the same age or very close, the same sex, the same hobbies, the same religion… etc.

On the other hand, the book considers a friend as better than brother. I can’t remember what this book was. Is there anyone here have another idea about friends and friendship? If yes, I’ll be happy to receive reply and we can discuss this topic more.[/COLOR][/SIZE][/LEFT]

i always tend to lose contact with my old friends
unless they keep in touch with me and keep remembering me
but friends from the same sex tend to direct the relationship to someother path other than friendship
and this is not from one experience it is from different ones
some ppl are lucky to find a friend always there
but i tend to loose all my friends
and just stay online with magic screens sometimes
but i gave up that too, i just come to the forum here and write down what i think
