Coptic Knight,
it is a tricky question, and I don't know how to answer it. I don't think that the ways of the old testament in using power righteously is the way. It is not applicable when you want to push your agenda and get Egypt back as a coptic country. By coptic I mean that it should belong to people who love Egypt and not Islam, who feel that ther heritage is the pharaonic heritage and not the disgraceful arab traditions.

But there is not mention what so ever for use of violence to push christianity in the new testament. Abu Seifen, the great martyr, had the power in his hands to overthrow Ceasar, because he was the leder of the whole Roman army and the highest rank officer. He was a excellent tactician and glorious fighter with a record of many victories. Yet he choose martyrdom.

I think that it is the responsibility of everyone to protect his loved ones, and I salute the Assiut people for what they did. But we have no reference in the teachings of Jesus and St.paul or any of the apostles for use of violence.

As KJKL said, the was is to become powerful as a loby and educate people on Islam in the West.I am doing that now, and I will continue doing that and it is bearing fruit.

I also wanted to point out that every house that is fighting in the inside will fall. The reason why Arabs could seize Egypt in the first place is that the christian byzetians persecuted the church heavily. When the barbarians came, they were faced only by a weak byziantian army. When the copts figured out that it the new occupation is by far worse, it was too late. I am saying this because if we can't agree on a plan, and we even fight internally here in the forum and trying to silence some of our brothers under the cover of " love towards muslims" and "present ourself the right way" and so on, how are we gonna win a war so big and get our message to the others ? We have 3 million copts in North America alone, don't know how many in Australia, and there many other christians from Lebanon, Armenia, Syria, Iraq and from the east who by teaming up with us would make a great front.

Regards
