The site was designed with all these concerned in mind. Each profile is approved before it is posted. The site is being monitored by administered at all times. In the future, the site will be for paying members only so we can verify their identity and make sure that they are what they say they are. However, we decided to make the site free until we work out a way to allow the youth in Egypt, who do not have a credit card, to pay to join the site. We are thinking of selling password in churches etc. As usual with our project, profit is not the aim or the goal, but in this case, it maybe important to charge something simple so we can verify the identity of the people on the site.
We need to ask you all to tell your friends and family about the site. The site is not for singles only, but for people to make friendships and get to know one another.
It is also to help Copts inside Egypt meet Copts outside and maybe travel, marry, become friends whatever.
I am hoping the site will be a positive contribution. The only reason that I did not put the site under the Association's name is the concerns that some people may slander the Association because of the site. These ideas are new to our community and people may not get used to them easily. So for the time being it will be a individual project that wants to help connect the Copts in a Christian, controlled environment.
The site is really a response to 100s of requests that I get from people everyday about this subject. So I am hoping it will help our people.
I would like to ask if someone can post a posting in Arabic about the site.
I believe the site takes Arabic now as well, but we are going to try to have it in Arabic soon

Excellent site and an idea that is long overdue. Now...the important question is: Have we taken enough precautions to protect young people, especially young women from evil persons who can pretend to be looking for innocent friendship, while they have bad intentions in mind
