Understanding Islam and Muslims

I think it is not fair nor right to say about one part of a religion ignoring the other. You were talking about Islam in a very nice and systematic way. I don't object to this. But I have one question for you. Do you think you can apply Sharia now adays? For example if someone steals can you say that his or her hand must be amputated? This is not acceptable in the west and in all civilized countries. You should see what were the motives for theft? You should lead him to repentence. This is mercy.
Besides You have the right to preach your religion. But you don't have the right to deceive others by keeping some information hidden.
What about apostacy? Can you talk about it? or is it just a way to tell others that once you become muslims it is no way out. If you try to convert to any other religion you will be killed.
