What is Islam ?



Islam is not a new religion, but the same truth that God revealed through all His prophets to every people. For a fifth of the world's population, Islam is both a religion and a complete way of life. Muslims follow a religion of peace, mercy, and forgiveness, and the majority have nothing to do with the extremely grave events which have come to be associated with their faith.


Who are the Muslims?



One billion people from a vast range of races, nationalities and cultures across the globe - from the southern Philippines to Nigeria - are united by their common Islamic faith. About 18% live in the Arab world; the world's largest Muslim community is in Indonesia; substantial parts of Asia and most of Africa are Muslim, while significant minorities are to be found in the Soviet Union, China, North and South America, and Europe.


What do Muslims believe?



Muslims believe in One, Unique, Incomparable God; in the Angels created by Him; in the prophets through whom His revelations were brought to mankind; in the Day of Judgement and individual accountability for actions; in God's complete authority over human destiny and in life after death. Muslims believe in a chain of prophets starting with Adam and including Noah, Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph, Job, Moses, Aaron, David, Solomon, Elias, Jonah, John the Baptist, and Jesus, peace be upon them. But God's final message to man, a reconfirmation of the eternal message and a summing-up of all that has gone before was revealed to the Prophet Muhammad through Gabriel.



How does someone become a Muslim?



Simply by saying 'there is no god apart from God, and Muhammad is the Messenger of God.' By this declaration the believer announces his or her faith in all God's messengers, and the ******ures they brought.


What does 'Islam' mean?



The Arabic word 'Islam' simply means 'submission', and derives from a word meaning 'peace'. In a religious con**** it means complete submission to the will of God. 'Mohammedanism' is thus a misnomer because it suggests that Muslims worship Muhammad rather than God. 'Allah' is the Arabic name for God, which is used by Arab Muslims and Christians alike.


Why does Islam often seem strange?



Islam may seem exotic or even extreme in the modern world. Perhaps this is because religion does not dominate everyday life in the West today, whereas Muslims have religion always uppermost in their minds, and make no division between secular and sacred. They believe that the Divine Law, the Shari'a, should be taken very seriously, which is why issues related to religion are still so important

Allah of Islam is a deceptive one and a misleader (one who leads others astray)

Moslems are misled by their Allah. Allah of Islam misleads nonbelievers by encouraging them to do evils. The more they do evils the more blessings Allah bestows on them so that He can lead them to hell. When they die Allah deceives the hypocrites by opening the gate of hell from the paradise side so they enter into hell thinking that it is paradise and they swim in . Moslems laugh at them while they are sitting on sofas. This is the way Allah of Islam misleads and mocks at nonbelievers. What kind of Allah is that who misleads nonbelievers instead of guiding them to the right path and mocks at them on the last day?

2:15 ALLAH will punish their mockery and will let them continue in their transgression, wandering blindly. ( Al kortoby Interpretation)

اللَّهُ يَسْتَهْزِئُ بِهِمْ وَيَمُدُّهُمْ فِي طُغْيَانِهِمْ يَعْمَهُونَ ( (البقرة: 15

اللَّه يَسْتَهْزِئ بِهِمْ " فِي الْآخِرَة , يُفْتَح لَهُمْ بَاب جَهَنَّم مِنْ الْجَنَّة , ثُمَّ يُقَال لَهُمْ : تَعَالَوْا , فَيُقْبِلُونَ يَسْبَحُونَ فِي النَّار , وَالْمُؤْمِنُونَ عَلَى الْأَرَائِك - وَهِيَ السُّرُر - فِي الْحِجَال يَنْظُرُونَ إِلَيْهِمْ , فَإِذَا اِنْتَهَوْا إِلَى الْبَاب سُدَّ عَنْهُمْ , فَيَضْحَك الْمُؤْمِنُونَ مِنْهُمْ , فَذَلِكَ قَوْل اللَّه عَزَّ وَجَلَّ : " اللَّه يَسْتَهْزِئ بِهِمْ " أَيْ فِي الْآخِرَة , وَيَضْحَك الْمُؤْمِنُونَ مِنْهُمْ حِين غُلِّقَتْ دُونهمْ الْأَبْوَاب , فَذَلِكَ قَوْله تَعَالَى : " فَالْيَوْم الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا مِنْ الْكُفَّار يَضْحَكُونَ . عَلَى الْأَرَائِك يَنْظُرُونَ " [ الْمُطَفِّفِينَ : 34 - 35 ] إِلَى أَهْل النَّار " هَلْ ثُوِّبَ الْكُفَّار مَا كَانُوا يَفْعَلُونَ " [ الْمُطَفِّفِينَ : 36 ] .

وَقَالَ قَوْم : الْخِدَاع مِنْ اللَّه وَالِاسْتِهْزَاء هُوَ اِسْتِدْرَاجهمْ بِدُرُورِ النِّعَم الدُّنْيَوِيَّة عَلَيْهِمْ , فَاَللَّه سُبْحَانه وَتَعَالَى يُظْهِر لَهُمْ مِنْ الْإِحْسَان فِي الدُّنْيَا خِلَاف مَا يَغِيب عَنْهُمْ , وَيَسْتُر عَنْهُمْ مِنْ عَذَاب الْآخِرَة , فَيَظُنُّونَ أَنَّهُ رَاضٍ عَنْهُمْ , وَهُوَ تَعَالَى قَدْ حَتَّمَ عَذَابهمْ , فَهَذَا عَلَى تَأَمُّل الْبَشَر كَأَنَّهُ اِسْتِهْزَاء وَمَكْر وَخِدَاع , وَدَلَّ عَلَى هَذَا التَّأْوِيل قَوْله صَلَّى اللَّه عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : ( إِذَا رَأَيْتُمْ اللَّه عَزَّ وَجَلَّ يُعْطِي الْعَبْد مَا يُحِبّ وَهُوَ مُقِيم عَلَى مَعَاصِيه فَإِنَّمَا ذَلِكَ مِنْهُ اِسْتِدْرَاج ) . ثُمَّ نَزَعَ بِهَذِهِ الْآيَة : " فَلَمَّا نَسُوا مَا ذُكِّرُوا بِهِ فَتَحْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ أَبْوَاب كُلّ شَيْء حَتَّى إِذَا فَرِحُوا بِمَا أُوتُوا أَخَذْنَاهُمْ بَغْتَة فَإِذَا هُمْ مُبْلِسُونَ فَقُطِعَ دَابِر الْقَوْم الَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا وَالْحَمْد لِلَّهِ رَبّ الْعَالَمِينَ " [ الْأَنْعَام : 44 - 45 ] . وَقَالَ بَعْض الْعُلَمَاء فِي قَوْله تَعَالَى : " سَنَسْتَدْرِجُهُمْ مِنْ حَيْثُ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ " : [ الْأَعْرَاف : 182 ] كُلَّمَا أَحْدَثُوا ذَنْبًا أَحْدَثَ لَهُمْ نِعْمَة
وَيَمُدُّهُمْ
وَالْمَعْنَى فِي الْآيَة : يَمُدّهُمْ بِطُولِ الْعُمْر حَتَّى يَزِيدُوا فِي الطُّغْيَان فَيَزِيدهُمْ فِي عَذَابهمْ .

[2:26] Allah disdains not to use the similitude of things, lowest as well as highest. Those who believe know that it is truth from their Lord; but those who reject Faith say: "What means Allah by this similitude?" By it He causes many to stray, and many He leads into the right path; but He causes not to stray, except those who forsake (the path),

قَالَ السُّدِّيّ فِي تَفْسِيره عَنْ أَبِي مَالِك وَعَنْ أَبِي صَالِح عَنْ اِبْن عَبَّاس وَعَنْ مُرَّة عَنْ اِبْن مَسْعُود وَعَنْ نَاس مِنْ الصَّحَابَة يُضِلّ بِهِ كَثِيرًا يَعْنِي بِهِ الْمُنَافِقِينَ وَيَهْدِي بِهِ كَثِيرًا يَعْنِي بِهِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ فَيَزِيد هَؤُلَاءِ ضَلَالَة إِلَى ضَلَالَتهمْ لِتَكْذِيبِهِمْ بِمَا قَدْ عَلِمُوهُ حَقًّا يَقِينًا

I think it is not fair nor right to say about one part of a religion ignoring the other. You were talking about Islam in a very nice and systematic way. I don't object to this. But I have one question for you. Do you think you can apply Sharia now adays? For example if someone steals can you say that his or her hand must be amputated? This is not acceptable in the west and in all civilized countries. You should see what were the motives for theft? You should lead him to repentence. This is mercy.
Besides You have the right to preach your religion. But you don't have the right to deceive others by keeping some information hidden.
What about apostacy? Can you talk about it? or is it just a way to tell others that once you become muslims it is no way out. If you try to convert to any other religion you will be killed.
